The meeting begins at noon on 5/2, and will conclude by noon on 5/4.
Lunch on Thursday will be at the church at 11:00 AM, For Thursday night’s dinner (in addition to the Restaurants Near Me feature on Google Maps) we will offer a list of local favorites in the vicinity for your use in deciding where to eat. Friday dinner will be provided by our church. On Saturday, the equivalent of box lunches will be available to take on the road.
Lodging is at The Element hotel, located at 14555 Vintage Preserve Pkwy, Houston, TX 77070. The hotel provides a full, hot Continental Breakfast, but there is a local favorite, Another Broken Egg, within walking distance. In addition, an excellent pub, Mo’s Irish Pub, is about an eight-minute walk.
If you are flying in, and need to be picked up, please fly into Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). Our other airport, Houston Hobby (HOU), is over an hour’s drive away; we simply won’t be able to provide transport to-and-from Hobby. You would be on your own for transportation to and from Hobby.
The cost for a room with one king bed is $90/night. The cost for a room with two queen beds is also $90/night. The usual policy for coverage of commissioners will apply. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact John Emmett at jsemmett@live.com
